| Moving Up |
 | | | Wednesday, March 23, 2005 | | | David Ninh | | | the Dallas Morning News | | | | | After eight years on Herschel Avenue, Salon Three Thirty is moving on up - to Uptown, that is. Owners Eric Culbertson, Peg Cribari and Yancey Smith hired local architectural team Zero 3 (responsible for the new Goss Gallery and Paris Vendome in the West Village) to design the salon's new sleek, minimal space. The results? Full-length, custom-made mirrors crafted by artist Randy Murphy. Dark-wood shelves filled with colorful Kerastase hair-care products. And stark white walls covered with large photographs by photographer David LaChapelle, on loan from the neighboring Goss Gallery. (The art on the salon's walls will change with each new exhibition.) Nothing beats having a life-size portrait of Leonardo DiCaprio staring down at you as you''re getting your hair shampooed. | | | | | | | |
